Fading Rosacea after 1 treatment!

Take your Micro-Needling to the next level with adding Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP). Micro-needling with PRP is an effective and versatile tool for many types of aesthetic and healing treatments, including: skin rejuvenation, reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, rosacea, active acne and acne scarring, other scarring, and stretch marks.

Although blood is mainly a liquid (plasma), it also contains small solid components (red cells, white cells, and platelets.) The platelets are best known for their importance in clotting blood. However, platelets also contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors which are very important in the healing process. PRP is plasma with many more platelets than what is typically found in blood. The concentration of platelets — and, thereby, the concentration of growth factors — can be 5 to 10 times greater (or richer) than usual. To develop a PRP preparation, blood must first be drawn from a client by clinician, done exactly like a lab draw. EASY with Nicole, a RN with over 20 years of blood draw experience! Then platelets (the clear part of blood) are separated from other blood cells and their concentration is increased during a process, done with a special collection vial and equipment called a centrifuge. Then this increased concentration of platelets is re-introduced topically onto client’s skin for aesthetic rejuvenation and/or healing. Leave the office with pink skin that glows- no downtime!

abouT micro-needling with PRP

PRP therapy combined with micro-needling helps stimulate the body’s stem cells to produce greater amounts of collagen, leading to the development of more youthful-looking skin. The plasma contains proteins and molecules to send nutrients into skin cells, making it a highly natural way to minimize the appearance of scars, wrinkles and other aging effects.

Nicole introduced PRP to Sioux Falls in 2014, using Eclipse MicroPen Elite with topical application of PRP.
